ok thanks now is it ok that I make the ones that have already sprouted wait for the Jack Herer to get to it's third week after it sprouts

yeah i'm pruning bit for bit every third day or so, just not sure how much to take off. i guess it would be better to take off more at the same time to not stress the plant so much? but it's hard to know what to take off and what to leave to give an optimal yield, i'm mostly just focusing on removing the fan leaves in the bottom that is reducing the air flow at the stalk, you think i should prune them a lot more?

only remove leaves that are completely useless, if they're not in direct light they wont be nearly as much of a priority to the plant. you will only stress her if you defoliate too much at a time, one or two leaves at a time wont hurt, they get eaten in nature all the time by deers. your training should make it so there less maintenance as far as defoliation goes, if the nodes are well exposed your fine.

Sure does look SWEET! Nice lst-ing.....wish I had the guts to do it...lol! Maybe someday ;)

Nice and healthy, they should start fattening up real nice, real soon!

thanks guys. i hope so! they seem to be growing at a much higher rate now under 12/12.

how much do you think i should be watering at this point? i water them once every 1-3 days with about 3 deciliters of water with hesi bloom complex if the soil is dry an inch down into the soil

something i noticed with lst was that if you do it just an hour before the dark hours in veg (i ran 18/6) they have always popped right up towards the light when the lights went on again. the plants doesn't seem to get much stressed at all and just grows right away

looks good, poke some holes in the soil to check moisture, once the holes just collapse on themselves they're usually dry enough, soil looks different when its moist too(it looks darker) so thats another good way to tell. can be anywhere from 2-6 days, all depends on humidity.

okay, from reading up a bit it seems my plant might be drying upp too fast because i have the big fan blowing on them and the temp pretty high, these two kind of go hand in hand though as i need the fan there to be able to have the lamp closer.... should've gone with cfls instead of the hps lol :P. i'm gonna try watering a bit more than 3 decilitres, i think my pots hold about 10 litres of soil (almost 3 gallons).

how is your bagseed mango going hazey? and i forgot to ask you, how was the mango smoke?

tried a cool tube?
shes revegging im pretty sure, just letting her buds run so a few seed casings can ripen, after that shes ready for full harvest then re-veg. and the smoke was great, real smooth with the hint of blueberry. which is odd because the bagseed came from supposed mango, hell the bud it came from smelled nothing like it.

hm okay :P sounds like something else maybe then, nice anyways. i can't get a cooltube i've hit my budget for this project :P. i just forgot to open my closet doors for 15 minutes while the light went on and it was like a sauna in there, i hope this didn't stress them too much.

is it safe to lst at this point? 10 days into flower, they have just started working on the buds

shes not fully done either, only 30 days into flower but she still packed on trichs, i think she knows shes gotta reveg soon so shes swelling as much as she can so the seeds can develop. and thats fine really, you just gotta make some better airflow. do you have a fan just on the bulb?
lsting should be fine, just stay away from the bud spots so you dont harm them with the ties.

that sounds great :O breeding is cool. is it the one on the last page in the link in your signature?

the fan is blowing on the plant tops and in between the reflector and the plants, otherwise i have to raise the lamp because of the temps. the plants are about 7 inches away from the bulb and 5 inches away from the edges of the reflector. this is how it looks:

yeah thats him, he threw out lots of male flowers and stretches 2x the size in like a week or two, he was fast so im confident in these seeds.
they look healthy, i think an LST would be very useful though, its not too late.

nice little setup when you go into flowering home depot sells gigantic 2700k(2700k is the color temp better suited for flowering rather then the plain white or daytime cfls) cfl's the biggest one might be discontinued soon its 68 watts....it says its equivilant to 300 watts and puts off 4200 lumens.....then they have 42 watt ones which they advertise as being equivalent to 150 watts that put off 2600 lumens......I'm using them right now with pretty good results.....make sure you clone your plants as well when they get big enough so you dont have to worry about the space issue as much
