Hps bulf for my tent

So I am getting a 36x36x80 tent and I wanna know if a 600w hps mh light fixture would work or should I get a 1000 w hps mh

I think a 6 would be good your getting 66 watts a sqft

1000 too much ho with 600

Or get a double ended fixture or ceramic metal halide

Thanks guys also the light fixture is double ended

Too small for a 1k. It can be done, but with a lot more experience, and specific equipment to deal with the amount of heat that would be produced. A 600w is the perfect size for that footprint, and you'll be able to have the light a little closer to the canopy.
