Hps bulb is too long for fixture

Never used hps before but a large expensive LED just crapped out on me ( fuck growers choice ) and had to roll with punches.

Not sure what is going on got a 1000 watt DE bulb and ballast from same brand but it is a tad too long. Has the same base and glass size k1230S and t32.5

I could not find anyone with a bulb too long or a fixture too short so I figured I'd ask a grow forum.

Anyway. Deff was a manufacturing defect of some sort and I returned it.

Have a new one coming? Same or different brand? Keep us posted. Oddly curious now.

Sun stream. Purchased directly from them. through Amazonn. Didn't mention first post but ordered the option that came with a bulb and it was missing. Paid for another bulb, argued with Amazon for refund of said included bulb.

And then when the bulb arrived it was clearly too long and the fixture looks , on purpose bent at the wrong angle making it too short. So altogether I am not using this company ever again that is SUN STREAM .

I'm going with htg supply digital cmh fixtures now and returned the hps for full refund.
