Curious to how the virus shows itself.
I had a cut of GG4, probably the most whored out cut in existence. It would definitely show signs of what I know now to be hplvd but periodically. I would take 24 cuts for example, 20 would have vigor, big green fan leaves, the other 4 would be far behind. All fan leaves were small and growth was retarded. Lighter colored leaves with the classic purple stems.. The buds would be airy and nodes stacked very close together. It would show signs of a deficiany or lock out. You would swear they were two different plants but all from the same original cut Fed the same, conditions all the same.
It seemed if I only cut from the healthy plants, and discarded any that were not, I could keep the strain performing by taking extra cuts and discarding any unhealthy.
Not the way to do it, but thinking back now, it was strange how it affected the plant. I wonder if it depended on where you took the cuts from, maybe tops that were vigorous slowed the virus down?
