Howw big can I grow my plants with a 1 gallon pot?

So you have 41in between medium and your bulb you are gonna have to minus about 18-20 in for your light that leaves you with about 20 in of grow space. I wouldnt grow your plant outr to 1 ft. If i was you i would let your plant get a couple nodes and flipp it to 12/12. You are going to run into problems with not enough room if you veg your plant for 2 long.

Im not sure what type of light he's using but if he's planning on using any wattage of HID light in that space, it's going to hot quick. If I was him I would use a few 24" T5 banks, and some 2700k lights on the sides. The T5's are about 2" thick. This will help with the space issue. You could change bulbs for spectrum when you force flowering

He said he has a 400 watt wich is going to get crazy hot in there.

That attic gets reaal cold at night up here in ohio. And the thermometer reads a nice 80 degrees with a fan blowing towards it.

Lets start by taking them out of that box and gettin a ocilating fan to move some air around. Strengthn up those stems. Whats the temp like?? Those pots will do fine make sure there are holes in the bottom for drainage. I dont like the whole transparnt pots the light will get to the root so if you can get some tap and cover the bottoms up. How ever much room you have between light and roof is how much space you have to grow. Wich aint much room. It looks to be about 2 feet. i would flip overe to 12/12 when they are about 6-8 in tall. I woulnt worry about topping or lst you dont have the time.

I can scoot everything to the middle of the attic if need be. that would give me another foot or so. Plus if they get to 3 or 4 nodes before they reach 10" I might be able to top them no?

And I like the way the temperature is sitting right now so I think i may leave the box untill I figure out how to keep the attic from getting too cold.

Yup you can top them...3ft of grow space you will be fine. Look in to LST and toping. I have to ask but that light looks like the thing my mom cooks here turkey in.....lol

Haha yes that is indeed a disposable turkey pan from walmart duck taped to the light. I don't think its that bad of a light considering I bought it for 20 bucks. This guy bought maybe 150 of them from a ford plant that got shut down, and was selling them for 35 but I had 20 bucks so I got a dinged up one with no reflector

this guy is a newb u will need a 3 gallon container if u start flowering at 12 inches , trust me unless u want stunted growth. Also the guy that said sumtimes they wont get twice the size is just wrong, I use a 400w hps and they ALWAYS get at least 2 times bigger in flower . He should have said sumtimes they dont get 3 times the size in flower. (my opinion from experience)

yea if you grow more plants in gallon containers, there easyer to tend, check for bugs powder mildew exct...

This is my first time growing I have people telling me how to do it and they seem to be doing pretty good I have two plants they are about 4 ft by 4 ft wide because I've been super crapping I'm looking at probably a pound yield that's how good I think I'm doing one plan has darker leaves the other one has a medium green the flowering stage is into about 2 weeks and at most a couple are connecting I'm looking at getting 12-in buds 8-in buds 10-in buds I'm excited I will send some pics let me know how I'm doing I have plenty of room for growth I was thinking of adding a couple more lights they are growing like crazy I am so excited let me know what you think I can take better pics the buzz are starting to sparkle and dropping sparkles on the immediate leaves underneath and the buzz are starting to join together
