Hello fellow growers this is my first grow and I just been dishing out money weekly as they have been growing bigger trying to get pieces as I go. I know they are a bit small for how old they are but I believe that is partly due to the lights I had them under for the first 6 weeks today I just bought a Viparspectra p600 and swapped out the lights. So they are exactly 6 weeks at this point how does my grow look? And what can I do to get better besides lights at this point? Not to mention all of these bag seed I am a medical patient in Illinois but can’t seem to find seeds locally but I just placed an order with msnl so we’ll see how that goes. I am only using the fox farm starter trio and some calmag at this point.

I forgot to mention I have a CO2 enhancer in the closet because I’m yet to figure out how to exhaust closet and the closet stays closed most of the day also my closet is just a little over 2x2. Also attached is pictures of the 2 lights I was using side by side for the first 6 weeks very cheap Chinese lights off amazon that were like 30w each

Illinois... You can have 5 plants...
I had good luck with great lakes genetics but i sent cash.
And harvest mutual and they took credit card.
Why waste time on bag seed?

I know it’s only 5 plants.. There’s going to be males so I’m gonna toss those. Trust me I plan to end up only with 5 I am literally just experimenting and getting ready for those seeds that are coming in since this is my first time growing anything lbs

your wasting light and electricity there, no need to keep both lights on, just lower one rto cover all the little plants and add the second light when there larger and fill the space more

I say do you're thing bro.. experiment... but don't experiment with your wallet. Buy quality shit from the jump and you should be ok. The vipar light is ok for now.. but you might get one or 2 decent plants out of it for a newbie.. but 1 plant under it would turn out better sucking up all the light. (Still not saying it's gonna be great) A better light is needed for your next grow. You can veg with that light, but I wouldn't try to flower with it. Get a good LED that's pulling at least 120-135 watts from the wall. Not these $29.99 5000W lights from amazon. and that's only if you plan on staying in that 2x2 area. Bigger area will require more spending on light.

Bro what you think about these 2 lights for my 20x36x63 inches tent with 2 plants, its either one of these or the mars hydro 1000w

If you want a decent budget light grab a SF2000. That light will be all you need in there from seed to harvest.

Or if you are going towards Viparspectra check out the XS series. Those are the best VS has right now. (I think)
I like this maxisun alot too , my tent is rectangular so thats why i wanted to getaway from the square lights when growing more than one plant im really trying to find the best light that wont get too hot but enough to grow the quality that i desire

How's your exhaust and intake? not helping? This dude @Cvntcrusher has a nice little mini AC hooked up to an intake to cool his tent down. Check him out.
Im using the ac infinity 4in as an exhaust fan with passive air intake temps arent too high 84 max because i moved my dehumidifier outside the tent. Just order this for an intake since i had to turn off my central ac due to temps outside, arrives monday, planning on mounting beneath a window and cracking the window slightly in the winter will deal with heat. I just have to decide on a light soon

Without AC you may want that dehu back in there unless it's big enough to set in the room the tent is in. Humidity tends to spike at night/lights off. All depends on the weather where you are. For me.. I had to switch a lot around today to get another grow going because I don't want to run my AC anymore. Humidifiers and small dehumidifier in the tents now.

My tents pretty good right now i just restarted with 2 new clones on Thursday one purple Lamborghini and one banana og. Just anticipate a temp increase with double the lights

Excuse the mess. Both of my tents have inline fans mounted on ice buckets. Air blows through ducting into the tents. And the air coming from the ducting is around 64-68⁰F all I do is put ice and water in the buckets. Works amazingly. 20201004_111937.jpg
