when should i put it on 12/12. and why is the tip of some of the leafs turning brown?!

1. The tips might be caused by lack of humidity.
2. You need to understand that when you switch to 12/12, your plants will double in size in the ensuing two weeks. Figure out how tall you want your plant to be in the end. Next, veg your plant until it reaches roughly one-half of your desired height goal. These are just ballpark figures, so your mileage may vary.
