hey guys.. these are pix of some beautiful ladies that are 3months old as of the 17th all together, flowered the 4th of october, so they are 24 days in 12/12. one is ak48 the other I believe blue mystic(with blue/lavender flowers :D) and the other one is a northern light. they get fed nutes once a week and watered also about once a week sometimes twice. they are under a 250W hps with good ventilation and are exposed to fresh air about once or twice a week (other than the everyday opening of the cabbie airing them out) temps are about 77F.on and about 59F.off so yea what do you guys think??

hope mine look so well at that stage. looks like you're using at least 600w HPS. mine are much less, 3/12w cfls. I'm thinking to switch one out for a warm one, then reverse that for flowering stage. you can see my pics in my album.

yer look pretty nice the yellowing could be nut def or could be plant genetics. mine always turn yellow. o and i also heard that the bud sucks all the nutes from the leaves and that is prob why it goes yellow think it just means ur gonna have a big ass bud there:)

Looks good!

That plant im not sure...frmo the pic appears issue is only with the top leaves?

I'll check out my nute chart when i get home..no access to it here @ work

yes its only on the top couple sets of leafs and as they grow they are automatically yellowing from the inside. I find this strange because it is not like nute burn where the leafs turn yellow at the tips then rot the whole leaf. mine are yellowing from the inside out but not falling off or anything. seems like a minor problem for now just hope it does not persist.

Zinc

Zinc plays a roll in the same enzyme functions as manganese and magnesium. More than eighty enzymes contain tightly bound zinc essential for their function. Zinc participates in chlorophyll formation and helps prevent chlorophyll destruction. Carbonic anhydrate has been found to be specifically activated by zinc.
Zinc Deficiencies
Deficiencies appear as chlorosis in the inter-veinal areas of new leaves producing a banding appearance as seen in figure 18. This may be accompany reduction of leaf size and a shortening between internodes. Leaf margins are often distorted or wrinkled. Branch terminals of fruit will die back in severe cases.
Also gets locked out due to high pH. Zn, Fe, and Mn deficiencies often occur together, and are usually from a high pH. Don't overdo the micro-nutrients- lower the pH if that's the problem so the nutrients become available. Foliar feed if the plant looks real bad. Use chelated zinc. Zinc deficiency produces "little leaf" in many species, especially woody ones; the younger leaves are distinctly smaller than normal. Zinc defeciency may also produce "rosetting"; the stem fails to elongate behind the growing tip, so that the terminal leaves become tightly bunched.

Zinc Toxicity
Excess Zinc is extremely toxic and will cause rapid death. Excess zinc interferes with iron causing chlorosis from iron deficiency. Excess will cause sensitive plants to become chlorotic.

Here's an update. I opened my flower chamber to discover the "blue" strain I have is slightly starting to turn yellow... the leafs that is from the bottom up. this is normal correct? because all the strength is going up to the buds right?

yer think so but not good to let them get yellow still means u got nut def but not to serious but yellow from bottom up is nitrogen def. according to my chart. type in marijuana plant abuse in google and you should find a nice download that has pics and explenations and everything its pretty helpful for these things.

yer could be nute burn. im not to sure sorry. they look very stretched tho. how did u apply the new nutes and what are they? u prob shouldnt of treated all of them just the one with yellowing leaves. why treat something that isnt there. and i see the yellowings getting worst maybe try epsom salts.

so u wernt spraying them at all either? hmm wierd maybe it is to strong or something i do find the hardest time to keep a plant healthy is when flowering since its instinct to die is working against u aswell. how often do u use nutes?
