How yung can i bud?

what is the yungest i can start buding?
could i budd a 4 node seedling if i changed lights to 12?

no its way too young. It must first grow more leaves, nodes, a stem of sorts to hold the bud (s) look at some of the posted pics to get a feel of what they should look like watch a grow video or two kick back relax. You have a LONG time before you're gonna' be smoking from your grow. but it'll be fun and worth it. just remember to post your plant pics ansd we'll all help ya'

Now, it is a grow journal and he switches his lighting schedule 16 days after the seedling sprouted.

This is recommended for flouro or cfl grows, because these lights are less powerful they can not support a plant over 2 feet tall. Since a plant nearly triples in size within the first 2 weeks of flowering, the light schedule should be changed to 12/12 around when the plant is approx. 8-10 inches tall.

If anyone is a new grower like me, buy this book, all the info i just posted came from it and it has helped me out a lot. Also, anyone who is new growing with cfl or flouro, but this book, only like 15 bucks on amazon

I'm using flouros and need all the advice i can get my grubby little mitts on. Thanks for the headsup! i am using 2 4 foot flouros with 19 plants am into 6th day flowering on a 12/12 schedule they are app/ 12"-14" tall already. they should grow about another 2 feet before they are done, I hope

how long will the flowering take with floresents and will they work as well as hps

you could grow them under 12/12 from start. you will just get a small harvest, i just started flowering mine at 6in, so they wouldn't get huge.

Flowering will take approxmently 45-55 days with flouros and a small plant

will i get a better end product with hps or just a higher yeild?

I dont own an HPS, but i would assume both.

More light = more photosynthesis = more bud growth

U May Get More Yield But Quality Depends On The Growers Care 2 The Plant,the Plant,nutes,ect

I just harvested a seedling that was on 12/12 its whole life...small yield but it workd pretty good. id do it again..also, YOU CAN flower a plant at any age,height etc..
