how to trim

i need to find out how i can trim my plant so it grows horizontally and NOT vertically. can anyone help me.

try a search for LST, you can train it to grow horizontally, but i know of a way to do i through trimming alone other then to cut it down at the base, that will stop vertical growth for sure.
