how to tie plants down

my planst are becoming tall and i would like to know how you hold braches down so more light can get to other parts?

depends on what they're growing in, or if they're outside or whatnot...mine in a 5 gallon bucket, what i do is bore a little hole into the side of the bucket in the direction i wanna bend it, loop a piece of string around the stem (don't make it too tight, cause when the stem grows, you don't wanna cut off the circulation), and put the other end of the string through my little hole, and tie the string to itsself...pull gently! you don't wanna damage your stem! but you should be able to pull it over a full 90 degrees
