How to tell if trichomes are clear or milky

Hi - this is my first grow for a very long time. It’s an outdoor grow and my plants have been flowering since December ( I am in the Southern Hemisphere - NZ) so about 14 weeks into flowering. One of the plants looks ready to reap - but I’m just not 100% sure. I have taken macro photos of the tri homes with my iPhone - but can’t tell if the trichomes look clear or opaque/milky. Please help!! Photos attached. Would be most grateful for any advice on when to reap those beautiful, fat buds!

You really need more magnification. A loop, magnifying glass or clip on scope for your phone.the clip ons for phone ate are cheap. Mine was 10 dollars.

Not sure what the scope magnification is but i use it and phone camera zoom at 2x-2.5x for trichs and critters.
First two pics same plant. Scope shows opaque milky trichs.
Next two are a sister more clear and shiny immature trichomes.

Both look ready as far as flower development but the scope shows when the medicine is ready. 20200324_111522.jpg20200324_113555.jpg20200324_113728.jpg20200324_112501.jpg
