How to tell if my ladies are done

i am wondering what tricks other than the magnifying one there are to see if my ladies are done, right now there is a pretty even balnce of amber hairs compared to white ones, right now it looks as if my buds are getting tighter on the stock and filling out more so i dont want to pull them

but what are some signs that they are ready, as in just looking at the buds, leaves, and hairs? not so much thur a magnifying glass of any kind.

and is there anything as letting the plants flower too long, and it messing up the buds in any way?

the answer to this is yes and no
many belive that after the plant has fully turned amber if left unharvested will result in a degrade in thc
i'm not 100 % in belief of this
many of the hash producing counties allow the plant to mature to the point that all the leave have fallin off on there own
and then harvest when the bud that are left on the plant are fully amber (100%) and begains to dry out
but keep in mind that growing for hash making is differant from growing for smokable buds

but for me i will all way harvest around 40-60 % amber

any new grower that grows for personal use has only to worry about harvesting too early
it is highly unliky that a smoker will allow the plant to go to long
waiting for bud is not our strong suit

just what ever you do dont start picking off your plant
that shit is a grower worst habit

naw not picking off it at all, just watching the ambers slowely turn, right now i would say they are at about 25% turned, but the flowers are still filling out the stock
