How to tell if i drowned my plant

I put my plant under a drip system for a couple days and i came back there was water sitting at the top and leafs a slightly curled and some of the leafs have yellow spots. I need to know if the root still are growing or are stunned and rotting? please help

Just let them dry out untill they perk back up. if they dont then you have probably over watered them.....

what kind of grow medium are you using

You said a couple (2) days. I only water every couple of days. They would have probably been fine without the drip.

A good option for soil is to put the pot in a tray and fill the tray with water. The plant will soak it up as it needs it.
