Hey Eckto! Learning to clone is a very custom job first of all. There are MANY many ways to successfully take and clone cuttings. First you might want to look for some Rootone, dry powder rooting hormone, and i also use liquid rooting concentrate, from Dyna-Gro, K-L-N, the dyna-gro can also be used on plants that you transplant

Ok secondly you want to look for a big enough plant starter/cloning tray, they usually come with the little cubes/plugs that you put the cuttings in. Mine has 50 places to put cuttings and came with 50 plugs, you pre-soak the plugs in the liquid solution. This application is great for soil or hydro!!
Now you should be ready to get a Very sharp razor blade, you will want to pick the new growth of some the the inside branches, but still big enough/ healthy enough to make it through the process. @ a 45 degree angle cutting the branch at least approximately 2 1/2 to 3 inches will ensure they live and take off greatly when they are replanted. just remember to follow all the directions from both rooting products!
Put them underneath the light for around 2 weeks, checking for roots after that, keeping the moisture up around the clones( a cover or top is not necessarily needed for the tray, even if it came with one)
You may want to look up Additional info on different ways to clone but usually once you figure out YOUR WAY its very easy! GOOD LUCK
