how to swicht from 18/6 to 12/12

Hello there everyone I have a question I've been vegging now for 40 days now and i want to start flowering now my lights are on from 6pm to 12 noon and my dark stage is 12 noon to 6pm. During flowering I want my light cycle to be from midnight to noon and dark from noon to midnight what is the procedure to accomplish this? Thank You and your input will greatly be appreciated.

wait until 12 midnight then set the timer to go for the 12 hours until 12 noon the next day.

As long as it on for 12 hrs & then off... no problem. I have two flowering so when one turns on...the other turns off. Some say the Electric is cheaper in the PM Hours, as mentioned above.So that is good u r going with 12 to 12. Peace & happy Gardening

You might want to explain that because you can't keep your sun-up AND sun-down times the same if you switch from 18/6 to 12/12

if your anything like me 10pm 10 am is better. i like to see my babies in the morning...... right now thow they go from 12 midnight to 6am. in the fall both sun up and sun down times change in nature... im not understanding how thats a problem...? ill be setting mine to 10 night to 10 morn.

Just my opinion but don't sweat it so much - just readjust the timer. Nothing bad will happen.
