How to store trim. Do you need to dry trim

I have been storing some trim for about a week or two in paper bags. I plan on using it in butter. Is this a problem? Is this wrong? I have been hearing I you should store in zip lock bags but wouldn't this be bad for fresh trimming that are still wet as it could encourage mold development? Please any insight would be great.

dry it as you would the buds. get it dry total dry then throw into jars or zip locks. after you run out of buds. lot of people use a coffee grinder to grind up trim and then roll it up in a zig zag smoke it that way. it works. not as strong but some thing to smoke.

I just ziplock it and throw it in the garage freezer until I have too much and then I turn it into hash. You should have no problem drying it in the open, since you don't need to be focused on slow drying it for a cure. Just lay it out and it should be dry soon enough. Paper bags might induce mold because leaves, unlike buds, lay flat and stick closer to one another, restricting airflow and thus dehydration.
