Unless you want to water them every day you better go bigger. Fuck the tunnel. Just fill them with compost and just before the roots start to come out the bottom cut the bottom of the bag and let the plant grow into the dirt below

You could grow shrooms to :). How big of a panel you gonna mount? Let's see ....... I figure about a 20x20 and perhaps 50 batteries plus one big inverter ..... Sounds feasible.

(as far as cave growing)
but, you might run into trouble with orcs i suppose..

how about a small (trollsafe) hydroelectric generator under the road nearby? there happens to be a creek there that used to power a 30 foot compressor wheel...
