How to slow or speed up grow?

I am currently growing Northen lights Auto flowering plants and they are at day 29 today (the 21/11-13).

According to Nirvana shop they have a flowering period of 49-70 days.

That means they will be done between the 11:th and the 31 of december.

Problem is I'll be on christmas vacation between the 20 and 31...

So is there anyway to either spped up or (preferably) slow down the growth rate so i can cure them properly?

(Also does 49-70 days flowering mean 49-70 days of actual flowering or does the countdown start when the seed has popped? My plant has not yet begun flowering so if thats the case I have much more time then i thought.)

Thanks for helping and REP to all of you!

It goes like this: pre-flower stage then flower stage time count-down (pre-flower stage is 1-2 weeks, when you switch to 12/12 and the time it takes to see the first flower, then flower time starts) life time of auto's 9-11 weeks

there is not much you can do . what I would do is pump the co2 to 2000ppm it tents to speed the flower process up a bit by a week or 2. that or im getting high scoping the plants out from the high co2 intake im breathing lol . its not recemed over 1500 ppm if you read but I know a lot of big players pump 2000 ppm it does speed it up

I dont really have a seeled room so i cant use co2.
Also i want to speed the flowers down, not up, or else i wont have time to cure them properly.
If what your saying is true, my plants lifetime would be ending the between the 1:st and the 14:th of january.
Which means I will be home in time!

Would giving them grow nutrients prolong the grow stage and thus make the flowering stage start later?

That's real nice but has nothing to do with his question.

P.S. - It's an Autoflower

I think you might be able to slow it down by reducing the temperature significantly. I've grown hundreds of plants outside (which is admittedly different than indoors) with temps in the mid 30's F at night and they hang in there fine. I wouldn't be afraid to keep them in the 50's myself, but you'll need to be aware they won't use as much water. If you are fertilizing you could cut back or cease that.

I think anything that would slow their maturity would inherently be somewhat stressful, but that doesn't necessarily mean it's gonna be a bad gig. You're just taking them out of "prime" growing conditions in an effort to slow them down

If they haven't started flowering yet I wouldn't worry about it, they normally take longer to flower than advertised. I'd just carry on as normal.
