How to sell your legal grow?

...yeah so I got this nice lil business set up and rolling , going on second year legally now, its big enough for 2 full clip caregivers in Maine (perfect for a couple that grows) and I would like to sell it or rent it as a business (equipment and all) ...I have many questions about how to go through with this, has anyone done something similar?
First of all how do you show a fully functioning grow? (I am planning to run my summer op here) If using a real state agent, how would you instruct them to screen the potential buyer? How would a potential buyer go about financing something like this in a state of Maine? And last ,but not least, can I advertise something like this on RIU and other like forums?

you trying to sell a turn key operation? like you started a laundry mat and you want to sell the whole laundry mat business, or do a commercial lease? I think if you were renting the "business" then you would be / or maybe overreaching into franchise realms.. i would talk to a lawyer, not just a realestate agent but a criminal lawyer and a business lawyer too..

interetsing idea

...well Ideally I would like to sell a "plug and play" 2 caregiver setup...after months of tweaking all the bugs and redoing the house I realised that its simply 2 nice for me...(just keeping the house in somewhat clean condition is kind of a challenge) I realise now that I personally would be alot happier living in the camper on the land I own out right and growing off the grid...yes I know its not the easy task but the products of my labor will permanately remain on the land I own , not on the property I owe B of A lots of K's...However for someone somewhat experienced who dont mind paying for luxuries like plumbing and shower (tottally unnecessary in my opinion , at least in the summer) it could be a great place.

i would just be sketched out having to show it to people. i mean i know you are legal but you are basically breaking rule #1 of growing by advertising your location and bringing people there. kinda tricky but you really would need to pre-qualify people first.

well yes its the plan, who ever takes it over will have to be legal too, so a credit check and references (if they rent), and bank loan preapprouval if they consider buying, the place have a multycamera /multy sensor security system plus I have someone here at all times, not to mention other security percautions ...If I was considering a place like that, I would deffinately rent and try it first befoure committing to buyin it, I think its a great option for someone....

AND OH YEAH, I dont think Im gonna disclose the exact location, till I meet someone serious with deposit $ in hand....

and considering, the we advertise in a sort with either CCM or MMCM, "rule number 1" is sorta out the window. Now i don't take people to my grows, its in a secure location and all that but I am not under ground either..
I think you have a good thing to rent or sell, what do you do about heat in the summer?

finding the right person to rent it, or buy it (especially if it puts the in proximity of your new place) is the real risk.. basically inviting strangers into your world because they got some cash in their pockets...

...no man is an island I guess, in order for me to advance my personal grow, I need to help someone else to advance in life, for a fee of course...as far as my new place...LOL atv access only...the hermit's dream lol....I am tottally unplugged from mid April to end of July then usually I designate a space outdoors where I run my supplemental lights for my veg, which usually ends flowering by Xmas...now Im starting 2 flower my august full moon batch by blacking out small g house, than natural light October harvest than Xmass vegged out, flowered in..the plants on pics are the smallest veg and flower done indoors from winter 'till now...but yeah as of end of aprill 'till about early oct my power bill shrinks dramatically ...also whoever considering taking this place should probably have product and plants ready to go.

good luck man.

entirely different grow strategy than i use, but i can see your logic and the process.

yeah my home and grow are NOT in the same place but its still in a rural residential BUT i will soon be moving my grow to an inconspiquous local.. an industrial park.. pay commercial rates, have it all commercially wired and plumed.

good luck with your plan..

my worries were not getting another CG in the game but to have some random close to my shit.. I don't worry about competition but i do worry about some asshole being an asshole.. "my this is broken, my that is broken, my patient is short, my plants have problems" your complaint list as a landlord will tripple.. lol

Im only looking 2 be a landlord, not a mentor, basically rent gets you in an mmj friendly facility, what they do from that point on (short of ripping me off and wrecking the place) is entirely up to the tenant (tenants)...I would prefer not to be entrusive , stay away and collect the rent...obviously pay for all the repairs that might occur as far as the house goes but thats it....

2 green houses a flower room and a veg room is easily gonna go over federal limits...the idea is similar. I dont doubt it is much more lax where you are but still something to keep in mind

Maine law has been designed for 1 or 2 caregivers not to exceed fed limits...what about all the landlords that rent to dispensaries? surely they know fully well what the nature of the business is...
