What do you guys use to make sure your old soil is safe to use again next year? As far as pests and diseases. Im on year 3 using rhe same soil.I just drenched it with anti bacterial soap and a strong neem tea.Had some strange white bugs that fly about the size of a small ant .And they look kinda Look a winged white ant.they get stuck in my buds and night makes a nightmare to getem out.basically i need to clean this old soil any thoughts?

Be helpful if you knew what pest you are trying to beat...is it whitefly? aphids? etc?
Most pests that end up in your buds arent the ones that live deep in your soil, so I wouldnt go dumping a bunch of H202 or Neem Oil in your holes.

Thx for the reply Waterproof. I'm trying to figure out what they are right now I think they may be thrips. They are small white look a little bit like an ant but a little smaller and they seem to get stuck in the stickiness of my buds. I'll take some pictures so we can figure it out soon

You would be better off amending it with compost, lime, gypsum, adding alfalfa pellets etc from a feed store at those sizes
Sometimes they have dried kelp bags as well, cook all that in the hole at the end of a crop. Or some Espoma/Job's organic fertilizer isn't too bad for the price, but adding compost every year is the best thing for keeping pests at bay.
The heat, nematodes, earthworms and beneficial bacteria will kill off most everything, then hit it with Botanigard/ Azadactarin. That will kill most aphid and whitfly larvae, ticks, bedbugs. Or just go straight to the Botanigard/ Azadactarin/ Spinosad drench routine if you don't have time before planting.
