1) dont grow in public area such as parks..around school or anything also farmers fields ..u can grow there but reamember farmers HARVEST TOO!!!!!
2) make sure the place where ur gunna grow gets at least 12 hours of sunlight a day...u can do this by goin to a spot..checkin when the sun hits the certain spot nd when the sun goes down...
3) dont use just one trail to get to this spot make numerous trails so its hard to other ppl to track it
4) make sure its not visable plant it near plants that well be green all year u dont wanna plant by a tree that the leaves turn color in the fall ur plant well stick out like a sore thumb
5) try to make it close to a river or stream this makes it easier to bring in water nd dosnet make it look so bait....especially for a guerilla grow ur gunna need alot of water...
6) ur gunna need a place to store all ur growing tools such as trimers nutrients.....buckets for water....again makes it less bait..u dont want to be walking into a field with a pair of trimmers a bottle of nutes nd bucket of water (not white ones to visable) thats so obvious...keep ur growing stuff under a tree in a backpack u can leave ur buckets by the river or stream ....u can bury ur tools nd stuff just put them in ur bag nd bury the bag it self ..do this under a tree thoo make sit less bait whos gunna walk up to a tree nd look for a bag with stuff in it....
7) dont tell anyone that ur growing at all..not even ur best friend...u never kno what a friend well do if u tell him uve got a guerila grow going on..even tho he/she ur friend U NEVER KNO ..it happened to me :( keep it a secret i knoo its hard but worth it.
8) put chicken wire around ur plant so deer nd other animals wont try to eat it or anything
9) get seeds nd grow

Thorns are your friend.

Heavy vine growth is your friend.

Mosquitoes are your friend, so are headnets and near pure DEET.

Save your pee. Yes, having gallon jugs of rancid urine around will make you feel like some kind of mental defective, but it will also keep animals away and provide a convenient excuse to not have to walk all the way to the bathroom at night. Spread this around the perimeter of the site. Keeps deer at bay, rabbits seem to only stay away for a day or less after layin down the piss. I use chicken wire until the plants are tall enough to be rabbit resistant. I get it out of there as soon as possible.

Grow organic, get strains that will mature in time for your latitude.

i dunno... maybe after february? ;-)
my input is that you should find as much direct sun as possible.. that will keep them healthy and vigerous..

the earliset u can plant ur plant outside is when ur plant is ready to be planted outside i would start to grow it inside first ...start (since ur in florida) say around christmas (closer to january) ... germanate the seed..after sai a week probably less..it shud be ready to be planted ..some ppl plant it as soon as it comes outif the seed but i wait until its about 1-2 inches then i plant it i a 1-2 gallon pot with fox farm soil....water it daily nd let it grow dont add any nutes at all until u move it outdoors...kepp it on anywhere from 12/12 to 14/10 light cycle the more light the better... when it gets about a month old and is about 2 feet place it outdoors it shud be ready...keep it in the pot tho for now....bring it in during night time until it gets a little bit bigger nd can handle night time conditons (mold, bugs, animals, cold temperatures/ etc.) when u bring it inside keep in room pitch black nd has good cicrculation (an elecric fan) ...when ur plant grows starts to grow nd get a good size ( 2.5-3 ft) id wud transplant it to a bigger pot...a 5 gallon bucket wud prolly be the best ..u can transplant early than this but this shud be the lasted any more growing nd it could go root bound...go into shock..or cause less yield...)....u can now add nutes nd wat other stuff u wish to add...ur plant(s) are now ready to be perminently moved outdoors for a good growing season ...good luck on ur grow ...nd happy smokin L)

DON'T put chicken wire up or a fence if you need and plan to be stealthy. That is a great way for your plants to get noticed out in the wild. Its much better for deer to find your plants than it is for cops, land owners or narcs to find them. Use other means to keep deer and small rodents away. Human hair, piss and a homemade garlic/red pepper/egg spray will work. Use all three of these items around your plants and the spray can be applied directly to them without any harm.

If you grow near a stream then grow some away from a stream too just so you don't lose everything in a flood. Growing near a pond or lake may also work but remember that people go to those places to fish.

Pick a place that is such a pain in the ass to get into that you are about positive no one else is giong to go in there. Try to have an excuse as to why you are in this place too should you be caught traveling to or from it.

Helicopters will look closely at public lands, water bodies and streams. Stay out of areas where people may scout out hunting spots.

If you are willing to pack in alot of soil, then I would say VERY VERY small clearings in pine or ceder forests are an excellent place. They will stay green throughout the year. They provide excellent close cover and can be difficult to move through. People will have to be right on top of your plants to find them.

You don't have to have 12 hours of sunlight. Trust me on this. If you can get a good chunk of the 9 to 4 or even 10-2, 10-3 o'clock sun while planting in an evergreen grove you are good to go and will still be able to grow huge sized plants.

I know a full day of sunlight and chicken wire are ideal ways to have a nice grow but many people can't do this stuff in their own backyards. People who need to hide it well don't always have these luxeries. The first and most important goal is to not get busted and to not have them found. Make that your number one priority and then start planning the other factors in the best you can around that.

Thanks for some great tips folkses. I find it hard to find places that have enough light and that are unlikely to go unnoticed by neighbours and visitors. I've planted tomato plants tied to 1.5m stakes and corn around some of them. I use my chainsaw a lot anyway so I hack off overhanging limbs to get more light. I'm praying for a good crop. I've found your tips especially useful <Dan Nabis>

Thanks Willie for the "rusty or painted" chicken wire comment. I had just read where Choppers can spot regular chicken wire. I use latex dipped CW, dark blue. To spray paint CW., it would be good to spray with vinegar first to clean off the oil film, so the paint will adhere better. Good Luck Guys.

I've heard throwing the CW into a fire works well to get rid of the shiny glow. I don't know first hand, just what' I've read.

Does anyone LST like crazy while growing outdoors? It feels like especially with guerilla grows that would be the best thing you could to (other than finding good cover) to make sure that no one can see it without stepping on it.
