another way ive seen was to use butter, not margarine, a big cooking pot, about a quart or so of water, and finely chopped dry bud/trim. place all ingredients in the pot, bring to a slight boil and simmer for about an hour. let mixture cool a bit so you can pour it through a screen or cheesecloth and make sure you squeeze every last drop out of the cheesecloth, or if you used a screen pour additional hot water through the gunk on the screen to wash any last oil out and then place the final liquid in the fridge for a few hours until the butter hardens on top. when it hardens its easy to separate from the water. you can even rinse the hardened butter with water to clean it and then you can use the butter in your recipe for cookies. the water removes much of the nasty chlorophyll taste out but since thc, cbd etc.. aren't water soluble, all the goodies go into the butter and it tastes a whole lot better than simply simmering the bud into the butter directly. try it and judge for yourself
