How To Make Computer Games??

hey i play the chronic growing game called "High Grow" its fun n shit but i wanna no how to make computer games much like this, i want to make a game almost identical to this but have different additives like: outdoor growing choice, cfl lighting choice, floro lighting choice, more strains(outcomes based on reviews along with treatment of ur plants, also for the outdoor growing i would like to add rain watering ur plants like real life, rain droughs(you need to water more, and pay attention) being able to collect pollen, being able to use a paint brush and put the pollen on males, having isolation rooms for males(single room for one plant), i would like to add better graphics using photos of real plants and inserting them into the game rather then creating a picture of a plant like high grow and i will be adding a bunch more strains with different requirerments, more specific nutes for some, some burn from light,nutes easier then others, some yeild more then others, some are more potent then others, grow shorter ith the same lighting etc., and much much more

i would like everyone to believe i am going to put alot of time into this if someone can tell me how i can design one of these games (Free of charge)

Your gonna wanna start by learning a programming language.
C# is a good one... It's like a mash of VB, C++, and the .net framework..

Fast, powerful.... many games are made in it... Easy to learn...

Honestly pick up a programming book and start at it... You need to learn how the language works before you can apply it to anything.

Learn the functions, voids, everything.
You will not build a game in one day, and you will not learn to program in one day.

Edit: I'm actually a professional c# developer... I do this for a living. I used to help with an open-source game all the time. I've spent thousands of hours programming so others can play games for free.

Sounds awesome! What language will you use for your game? I'm not bad with DirectDraw and C++ but not good enough to develop games.

lol well actually i have NO experience with programing and want to get started becuz ill put alot of time into it so can anyone please help lol is C++ a program? like i have no idea lol im trying to google it

C++ is a programming language man - and the hardest one to learn.
People take university courses just to learn how to work with it.

Honestly, as someone with NO experience.

Go buy a book and learn Visual Basic, then progress to C#, then one maybe one day you can attack the monster that is C++. that's all I can say.

C++ and C# are both programming languages that will enable you to create games.
I would recommend picking up either "C++ For Dummies" or "C# For Dummies" (not calling you a dummy ...it's just the title of the books ). They're good books for beginners and should be a good place to start for you!

ok so to try and learn this what would the high grow game be classified as? like i know theres flasha dn stuff but what type would i call high grow?

You could do the game entirely in Flash if you're good with it. That's actually not a bad idea as Flash is much easier to master than most programming languages.

but with a flash game would it be able to skip a day or something and have all the seeds and stuff with al the details ? lol

Yeah... That's all just raw data... you store all the data in variables... and then you manipulate it..
Flash can do all this...

P.S if it works ill simply delite the game and re-create it over a longer period with more details

ok so im installing adobe flash which makes flash games atleast google said lol so for any code i need i will search google for hopefully it will ork fuckin takes 850mbs my computers gonna be slow to shit hopefully it orks guys

so i installed adobe flash cs5 n i dont think u can make a game with it :/ i dont even no how to make a chart to buy the seeds

Lol you should check out the Pot Farm game on facebook. I think you're a bit over your head with this one buddy. Learning a programming language takes time, patience and lots of effort.
