Do you mean less then 80 degrees or 80watt bulb?

i think he means temp and if you dont keep the plant around 12 inchs tall when you put it in flower it will hit the lights in other words the plant will grow 2,3 times bigger when you flip lights 12/12.

I have another question what do you suggest for a germinated seed just planted in soil and hasnt sprouted. Will it need 24 hours of light or 18hrs. Im confused and dont want to plant the seed until I find out how much light is needed if any to help it sprout out of the soil? Or do i just leave it in darkness until it sprouts out of the soil and then begin to give it light?

Add blue/actinic light. That signals to the plant to keep internodes short. Good sources are aquarium/reptile bulbs, but mind your eyes. They produce UV that the plant likes but your eyes do not. cn
Fosho man thanks now I can plant the seed knowing it needs some light to help it sprout out of the ground.
Dam thats fukn sick! Ima check those out when i go buy the bulbs i need. yo but will it the actinic light help get the stem thick and healthy, or just helps to keep it short?
