How to lower ph a lot

I am looking into growing strawberries indoors next fall and the type i am looking at apparently thrives in soil with a ph of about 5-5.5.. all the soil i have found is neutral 7.0. i have not found anything i can use to lower soil that much.. most things i have found lower it to neutral or 6.5 but nothing that lowers it more than that.. i found some stuff for aquariums that lowers water ph to like 5 which would maybe work if i wanted to do hydro.. Any suggestions would be appreciated.. i have a few months :)

Your soil will eventually become the PH of the nutrient solution you're using. Soil holds nutrients very well and if you use a low PH solution the soil eventually migrate to that PH.

Also you can pre-treat the soil by running some low PH water through it first.

Research how to prepare rockwool. Rockwool also needs to be pretreated because of it's high PH.

i will look into the rockwool preparation.. i was just hoping i could add something like 1 part lime to 3 parts soil just to get the ph i want right off the bat. if that is the only option, ill do what i have to hehe.

Its a harder mineral based substance. wich is becoming more rare these days of SUPER chemicals. but its used for mineing extraction. and basic construction.
