How to keep my roots healthy

To get the dosage right. It's hard to dose something correctly that's so strong.

Just seems a lot easier to dose let's say a 7 gallon container with one milliliter per gallon compared to 1 ml for 20 gallons?
 
I'll take your word for that!

I couldn't help my high school son with math let alone when he was in grade school!:-(
 
You're probably safe either way and perhaps the person who had negative experiences with large doses had other issues not connected with the ag at all.

I forget where I got the 20:1 but it was a common dilution rate in my research. Some guy even had math to back it up but obviously it was wrong based on what rky was saying.

I reset my avatar because that's how growing makes me feel until harvest.

i use 1mL per waterfarm (2 gal) once a week. if the bacteria have nothing bad to eat, they just die off. a $15 bottle lasted me a year.
 
I'm going to foil tape the top of my resivour lids to help block light ... also my rockwool cubes turned down and black looks like the top feed system was keeping them to moist so I went ahead and removed the rockwool cubes and replanted them straight in net pots with hydrotron.

So dilute 20/1 then use @ 1/2ml per gal ?

Im at 2ml at the moment. Is my system going to fail? Lol
