how to keep my grow room humid??

ok i have a humidifier in my grow room and it just dosent seem to be humid at all in there. is there anything else i can do to keep it humid??

Are you saying it just doesn't feel humid? What is the actual humidity? If you don't have one go get a gauge.

I have a 60 dollar humidifier from walmart running in the room that is good for "large rooms" it's set at 55% and doesn't feel like Florida...

You should be at 50-60%.

No problem... you may not even need a humidifier depending on where you live but the gauge will tell you.

The human body won't even notice high humidity indoors until it gets maybe 65%+
Where I live up north, in the winter my indoor humidity drops to about 15% when it gets below 20F even though it's snowing and 100% rh outside so mine runs all the time.

I know this is an old Thread but putting a kettle in your growroom, boiling it and then leaving the lid open works great you can make the humidity up to atleast 65%.
Other cheap methods are hanging a wet towel in the growroom, giving your plants a mist of spary with a spraybottle and having boiling water on a plate.
