I am HUGE fan of the simplicity and efficiency of gravity bongs. Thus every single "gb" cap(gravity bong) I have ever made has been "jeweled". Jeweling gb caps allows for any excess marijuana to be caught by the small plastic jewels. I cannot begin to tell y'all how MUCH marijuana I have saved solely through the use of the gb jewels. I will first tell y'all how to make a GB cap and then how to jewel them.
Items:
Soda bottle caps ( sizes based on gravity bong bottle used)
Knife
Lighter
Hot Glue gun
Hot glue
Socket (choose one with a small hole as to avoid the need for a screen)
Plastic jewels ( Found in ANY craft store)
Step 1.
Take the bottle cap and begin to cut the very center of the bottle cap. I suggest cutting from the top of the cap downwards. Be very careful and cut in a swirling motion.
Step 2.
Once the hole is a slightly smaller in diameter than the metal socket; use the lighter and light the hole from the underside of the cap. BE CAREFUL WITH FLAME. If you light the cap for too long, the inside lining of the cap will be melted and it will not fit onto the bottle correctly.
Step 3.
Once the hole is slightly melted push the socket downwards into the hole. The socket should adhere to the cap instantly. No other glue is needed to make the cap airtight if done correctly.
Step 4.
Once the GB cap is made, now you may add any jewels in any designs you see fit. Simply take the hot glue gun, make a small dot of glue on the cap and stick on the jewels. It is a simple as that. However, I would advise a small space between the metal socket and the jewels. After numerous sessions the socket becomes very hot, so any glue near it possibly may get melted.
I use tweezers to get any remainding bud off my caps. I have also noticed over time, the caps act almost as "pollen" catchers like some grinders have! Besides their efficient uses, it also is pretty! So have fun y'all!
