Sup Riu ,
I'm using a dwc system I bought offline and Humboldt Nutrients ,and a 450watt hps light for flowering . Ive had some problems as this is my Rookie grow , Everything was going great til I started supercropping and Ended up breaking about half of my most mature baby off , But It has recovered nicely . It smells fucking great but im on week 2 or 3 of flowering and the blooms are still pretty small (They smell fucking amazing though :D),How many weeks should I flower and what are some things I can do to increase yield and potency with out spending a lot of money .

yield n potency is basicaly genetics n there are some thing to do to get increases but as a first time grower your job is to reach harvest without loosing your crop, n learn how to read your plants. be happy they are healthy n learn from the experience. after a few grows you will be applying that learned knolidge to acheve just what you are asking for :)

as far as flower time it depends on strain. indicas usually 8 weeks where as sativas run 11 weeks strain dependant.the crosses are all over the board fron 8-11 weeks. look up floweringf timefor the strain you have if you know otor if its bag weed n you dont know it time to learn about a scope n how to determine whan the trikes are ripe for the finish you are looking for. hope this helps n good luck :)

Sup man. I'm new to the forums myself. I've read around allot though, spend allot of my time in the growing journal area and I find that most people flower from 8-10 weeks depending on their genetics. Usually harvesting after the trichromes turn from milky white to amber. This also includes the debated flushing that happens in the last week. Switching from nutrients to just plain water.

I'd love to see some shots of your grow. :)

I've heard that about the trichromes But How Will I know when to start flushing them since Im supposed to do it a couple weeks before harvest(According to the guides i have read) if I don't harvest until I see the trichromes change color .And I'll Snap a few pictures and upload them in a little bit when my company leaves .Thanks for everyones advice and help ,I wouldn't of made it this far with out these forums :D

HR hit the yield increase on the head with more light lol you will be able to flush when the trikes change, its not like they all go overnight. experience is the best teacher n only time n effort will solve that issue. looking forward to your pics

So I should add more light for sure ? I only have 2 babys atm. I can't afford any better Lights atm ,But I have quiet a few walmart grow lights I bought when i first started I could add to it if you guys think that would help. They are fluorescent I believe.

I'm growing my mother under fluorescent right now. I wouldn't say it's the best for the vegi state, but it does the job. I'm going to go SOG soon... going to start with my first 4 clones off the mother in the next couple of weeks. You may want to look into 400-600w HPS lights for flowering though.
