Thanx man everyone seems to be loving the hairs I thought they where pretty narly.They where like neon pink last week now they are starting to turn light purple,is this shit normal.

As for how long they are going to take was the next question i was going to ask on here.Do u know when they well be down.Dont i have to wait for the hairs to turn a tanish or light brown in color,and have a dried up look to them?Or iunno.Any help with this would be awesome.

(it is on day 28 of flower today)Vegged for 3 week also

i hate how everyone is so against growing without your parents knowing. i think its only dumb if you tell people and so stupid things. im about to start a speaker grow in my room thats completely unnoticeable and im almost sure it will work because im not going to tell anyone and im smart about it. i grew once before and it worked fine except for the fact i was put on house arrest so i gave them to a friend because i didnt want the risk of having them in my house.

But yea i get pinched on and off.Depends if they'er pissed at me or not.Actually rigth thyer pissed.So i migth have to put it out in the garage tomorrow.Witch is better actually ahaha.Temps are cooler and air quality is better.So ill run they ligths at nite with will keep temps from 72-80.And turn them off during the day when temps in the box will be 70-75.Perfect

Well today ive decided to cover alot of things to do with my setup,cuz it has changed alot since the last time i posted any pix of it.So i figured its time for an update.

Pic #1:Is of the outside of my box with door closed and the towel thrown over it.As u can see it has a intake pipe now LOL.

Pic #2:Here is some more detail about the intake pipe.This is the joint where it meets the intake hole in the box and attaches to the fan.

Pic#3:This the top of the intake pipe.Right by the window,so it pulls in cool fresh air.Over the end of the pipe is screen to stop junk from falling in.Now if bug want to go they have no choice but to go threw the fan(witch is certain death)

Pic#4:Is a pic of the exhaust pipe.Its has a screen over it for the same reason.Laying inside the screen are pieces of deodorant material.So the exhuast air has to blow across the deoderaiser,and comes out smelling good.

INSIDE THE BOX:

Pic #1:As u can this is my over all set-up.usually im using 4 42watt CFL's(2 red,2blue)But rite now i replaced of of the 42 watter back to a 23watter cuz of heat issues.

Pic #2:Here is my almost 2 month old flowering away.And in front of it is a gay lil' sprout i have.It has been stunted cuz it got knocked over a spilled it out of its cup.I replanted it,but it stopped growing ever since the accident(so ill kill it soon)

Pic #3:Here is picture of my 2 plants side-by-side.The one on the left is my 2 month old flowering plant.The one on the right is my 14 day old sprout that has been is 12/12 since it was a seed.As u can see the two are nearly the same size even thow they'er so different in age.Actually that other little sprout is the same age as my 14 day old LOL.

Pic#4 the lights im using today.2 blue 42 watters,1 red 42 watter,and 1 blue 23 watter.

Pic #2:My digi thermometer that has cord with a sensor on the end and it tells me the exact temp. on the surface of the soil.

u could use the powerstrip cfl setup to make it less crowed and so u dont have to have cords everywhere. but anyway i have a few questions..how many cfl's did u use on the small plant with purple hairs and what watt were they? also where could i get a thermostat like the one u have and about how much do they cost? and lastly where could i get an electronic ph meter? and about how much do they cost?

also how do u have your ventilation set up? like how many fans and where are they placed on your box? and how well do they work to cool off your box?

yea i know the power strip would porbably make some more room,but i also like being able to move more individual lights around too.

As i have been growing that plant with the purple hair i started with on 1 23 watt blue spectrum.And added 23 watts at a time.Now im up to 4 42watters (witch would be 8 23watt bulbs.)2 are blue and 2 are red.

The thermostat with the cord is about $10 a pet store (for fish tank)

Electronic PH meters are expensive (or at least the one i have seen).I think u would be better of going with a manual PH teast kit with are any where from $5-10 at a pet store (once again suposed to be for a fish tank)

For ventilation i have 2 80cfm fans.One for intake and one for exhuast.I have them parallel two each other in the middel of the box.Witch was a big mistake.Now becuase they are parallel the intake air goes rite for the exhaust fan.And now it has created a wind tunnel effect.Wut i should have done was put the intake at the very bottom of one side and the exhaust at the very top of the opposite side.This is better for 2 reasons.1 the wind tunnel would be gone.And heat raises so it makes for better heat exchange.Oh yea and the plants feed from the bottom up so its good for that too.

Or i should have used both fans for exhuast,and just cut an intake vent with stove filters over it or something.It gets really hot in there,and now that its getting really warm outside that is becoming an iusse for me cuz my box use to suck the air from a near by window that would cool it down.

To bad i didnt have enough room for a circulation fan too,cuz that would make the major difference i need to solve this.

I got my 2 fans from radio shack for $20 each.U will have to wire a plug to them to make them work thow.U have to find the ones that run on 110 volts or ull need a DC converter.

Trust me man go with a bigger space then wut u got .It will make a world of a difference.I wish i did.

And b4 for u build or buy anything ask or post ur pix and we can try to build something similar but on a bigger scale.With new mods to solve som problems i got
