How to get rid of gnats in DWC

Hey super awesome grower experts.

I'm in the second week of flower and have just noticed a huge fungus gnat population. I am using 5 gal DWC and have seen a lot of good tips for soil, whats the best way to remove these lil bastards in a DWC setup? I am hoping to get them knocked down a lot before he plants get sticky... Thanks!

Sticks Strips, fly paper, insecticidal soap (make sure it's safe for weed), cover up your hydroton with something.

Good luck.

I didnt even know you could get gnats in DWC. Dont knats lay eggs in the ground (ie. soil)?

Any produt with Bti in it like Gnatrol and others. Some people on here will Cry that Bti is a Chem,, its not.. and its the only thing that is going to work.. the rest is just wasting your time, till you go buy some Bti.

mosquito dunks in panty hose (to keep chunks from breaking off and gumming up stuff) hanging in res worked for me In conjunction with sticky traps, resolved Gnat issue in about 2 week.
