How to get moisture out of buds

It's normal for the moisture in the buds equalizing. Make sure you get them at the proper RH so they don't mold. I add a cheap EBay hygrometer in each of my jars. I also burp them religiously for a while. First daily, then less and less often.
I just got an email that the the 6 temp/rh monitors I ordered are in. I've always just used feel and experience to get the cure done but $5 each for $15 units was too good to pass up. Wife wants two for her incubators. I get better cloning than she does chicks. :)

Get some Bovida in the jars for a guaranteed 62% RH
There is no guarantee, lol. I use them too sometimes, and they are really nice. But the Boveda's can only do so much. If you jar them too moist even with the pack you will have problems. They are better at raising the RH in the jar than lowering it. I always have some ready though when I'm getting close to harvest time, along with extra mason jars, lol. I've got more jars now than I originally planned on having when I started, and I still have to keep buying more, hahaha. Just got 3 more cases a few days ago.

I agree I've had my weed mold when used in really small jars with bovedas.

Boveda's are sweet, but you still can't jar the buds with them in it if the RH is too high to begin with and expect the Boveda's to do it all. If the buds are already dry enough, they can be great.

If your popcorn is still moist your good buds are still wet inside.
OP, don’t ignore this comment. If your popcorn buds haven’t dried them your larger buds are still wet inside and you are going to need to let everything dry properly before jarring it up.

I don’t own a hyrdormeter and I don’t think there is anywhere I can go buy one ASAP without waiting for postage I dried them for 3 to 4 days a bit early I know but their wasn’t anything I could do was sitting on 24 to 28 degrees with a rh of 60 to 70% they arnt terribly moist I can still chop them up they smell amazing it’s a mix between mango and orange
At that RH it should take a minimum of 7-10 days to dry completely. 3-4 days is far too short.

Those packs are used for long term storage. They won’t lower your rh. I use them if three or so months go by with weed sitting in a jar then throw one in to add a bit of moisture to the bud but only use them for long term storage. If the bud is t dry to where you feel comfortable sealing the lid then leave them uncapped overnight then check the bud again. Cap them up if you feel they are good enough. If not repeat another night or two until the bud is dry

Cheap hygrometers are sweet because they are cheap but you just never know what the RH really is. I bought a 5 pack that all read different RH in same jar lol. If you have one good accurate one you can move it from jar to jar (not convenient) or you can compare it to your others and just note the difference. Then you know for sure. Or Bovedas used properly will control RH to whatever level is on the pack.....Once your bud is dried pretty close (not precise) to that level. it's a trade off but both get you there.

First what was your drying process?
How long of period?
I would definitely dry them more based on your description
Like others have mentioned potential for mold and off putting smell is high the way you are going about this
