How To Get Generic Purple Buds.

im sorry but i just dont see how putting buds that have been cut off from the plant in the jar in the fridge can have any affect on the build up of anothycin (unless this continues to happen inside the calxyes) or start developing a k deficiency....especially in only 12 hours...... im a total newb to this so i could be wrong...... but it just seems, like silly pseudo cannabis science like i said before.
Something that companies can use to sell silly products.... remember this plants been around for thousands of years and purple varieties existed before people had fridges or as i read on one thread food colouring during the flush. i mean wtf.. other than it looking a lot cooler to have purple buds than the traditional green, i really dont see any advantage.

But if it works for you and you like it then who am i to judge

Yea I have no idea about the purple. But, I do take clippings suitable to be clones and put them in the fridge for a week or so and they still root when I take them out and add clone gel and put in a rw cube. So the mold thing could happen but probably not.

I have never done this to get purple buds, just to prolong a cuttings life before cloneing it.

How would it effect quality if its the finished producv, its not cold enough to harm trichs? i could see added stress but i don't feel it would be negatively effecting as its already cut? Imo it does not matter if its green blue or purple in my experience. it all does the same. perhaps experimentation. is required. for further knowledge

Stawberries amd a couole weeks well no shit it will mold if you put a hygrometer in your fridge you will see the humidity is at a 40-60% also depends on the drawer etc if it was 100% it would have water all over the place amd it wont mold overnight. Anything green stays green for days then will start to mold/rot as its geting old

Usually indicas don't do as well in the cold but sativas are unaffected

No ones calling bullshit on this? From this logic a nice tall Columbian or African or Thai Jungle Sativa is going to handle the harsh cold much better than an indica traditionally grown at 8000' from Nepal or the hindu kush mountains?? Does that really make sense to you?

I have a few purple strains in my bank. Frisian dew, deep purple, sweet purple, white russian(some pheno's are purple some are bright green), and blackberry. Some are better than others for sure. Some purple varieties I have grown have some of the highest cbn/cbd % Ive found, not always the high thc tho. which is very desirable. Frisian dew was really good, sweet purple was actually very black and not really purple bud, deep purple was really good all around. Here are a couple outdoor premature buds, the first pic is a frisian dew hybrid DSC00684.jpg
this one is a stabilized white russianDSC00698.jpg I think most indicas have the trait in some phenos to turn color with the cold.

ok i know i may come off as a hypocrite because i am myself posting again but the only way this will go away is if people stop posting in here.

just let the thread die a natural death because the mods certainly aren't doing their job.
