Ever since the introduction of fem seeds we have seen a sky rocket of hermie. nanners mutant plants Facts but lets understand how this can happen
When the genes of two plants meet, the chromosomes all get thrown into a proverbial bag, shaken well, and thrown out in different combination.
The resulting progeny show characteristics of both plants in various ways.
Often times when recombining two plants that are polar opposites of one another, ie...a short season indica and a long flowering sativa, the resulting progeny will often show a good high degree of hybrid vigor and health.

On the other hand, if we breed two sibling plants, or plants of the same strain, the resulting progeny are far less diverse. A continuation of generation of a cross of similar genetics can eventually run into a phenomenon of inbreeding depression. The genetic material available (or lack of) for each subsequent breeding can lead the plant to less vigor and sometimes mutations that were once latent, can now show themselves.

When we force a female to pollinate herself, she has a stand of DNA that contains her genes, which is bred to an identical strand of genes. If we think about it, we have cut the available genetic material in half when we self a female. And the result can often times lead to the inbreeding depression I mentioned.

Yes, the two genetic maps of a forced female and herself are identical, but they get shaken up in the proverbial bag I mentioned, and the result can be close to the original but not always. It will depend on how the shake out takes.
Thing is, we have shorted ourself genetic material when we create an S1 and luck must be with us if we are to hope to get seeds that will be identical to the mother and donor.
And we will still need to do a grow and selection of the progeny to find the ones that shook out similar to the moms. We simply can't trust that S1 seeds will result in the same plant. Chances are there that it can, but also that it won't.

ty sir...prune before flip...gotcha....I didn't...pruned a lil in early flower...can I prune during flower?? thing is a monster,,,bushy...healthy lookin...do I keep trying to spread it out? or jus leave it alone...its lst an tied down...ty ty
I don't lollipop past day 21. Sometimes I have to do it twice one around day 7 and again around day 21 depending on strain. Id train them until day 14, try to keep the canopy as even as possible. Let them stretch for atleast a week, getting your bud sites vertical again.

Ive never had more herms with fem over reg.
But ive grown thousands of reg and only maybe 100 fem.

Herms are somewhat natural though its not like they just popped up from feminizing. Ive spent alot of time in central america and the tropics. I was talking to a farmer recently on some islands off southern mexico that grew like vines and propagated along the ground. Dude said the whole field was the same strain his family had always grown. Id never seen such vine like cannabis.

There are so many varieties, incredibly unique when you start dealing with landraces. autoflower genetics are an example.
Many sativas will herm no matter what you do, eventually. Though many will never herm even if extending flower to do so

I personally have no problem with fem seeds, but i typically breed most that i buy and want males.

i like how people mention its natural although some strains are more unstable ?? thai sativa etc..but again forcing the hermie gene out of a plant will no doubt follow forward to its off spring thems are FACTS is using coladial silver natural ?? or any other means so by forcing a plant to hermie naturally is not good cause its off spring will have the hermie gene in it
Again google threads 20 years ago was there a high hermie traits out there ???
when as NANNERS first used ???
there is no doubt that since the introduction of fem seeds we have seen a increase of unstable genetics more hermies more nanners

Ex My cousin has a plant that he germinated outdoors back in early February. It's a 4' tall, very healthy and vigorously growing female plant with many growing tips... Christmas tree shaped.

The problem is, the plant shows that she is in early pre-flower, but she is making seeds in just about every calyx along her main stem (some are immature and others are mature), however, the calyxes along the branches are empty. There are no male plants around.

As far as I've read no.

http://www.hightimes.com/read/regular-vs-feminized-seed-showdown

Don't you think that's kind of an unfair comparison given that you purchased from a different seed bank/different strain? If you bought one Ace Seed reg pack and another Ace Seed fem pack of the same strain and then said it was lacking in something I'd say okay but to buy one strain from Ace and then a diff strain from Ace kind of makes your results a bit inconclusive.

That article I linked made me buy fem seeds, says their's literally no difference between fem AK and reg AK.
Lol.ya i had seen that ht article.

Im not thinking my experience is conclusive. Although i have grown Ace fems and regs.

My experience is def limited but i have flowered a few fems...im just speaking on personal observation. Also not sure if ive heard any masters complaining about fems.

They were not. It took me a whole minute to dig those pics up from your recent posts. You're a fucking joke and everything these guys are saying about you is true. The things you do to poor plants for your own twisted self pleasure is repulsive! Get off the internet!

you are really that pathetic that you would jump in with the trolls. We both know you are full of shit. so keep on trying. it doesn't work. you all wish you were me.

skunk and chunk where are pics of your wonderful plants. Oh thats right you don't have any. Skunk no stealing Mad hamishes pics again and saying they're yours

Seriously how old are you. You have the demeanor of a 12 year old. Seriously grow up. Move out of you parents house. get your g.e.d., get a job. make some friends and get a life. Trolling is not a life of any kind

Ive never seen people so obsessed with me. Skunk its really sad how so many old threads you go through and post about me and no one responds. Are you really that insecure? What do you think it accomplishes? In reality nothing... If you think it has any effect on my life or reputation as usual you are sadly mistaken.. Again grow up and get a life. I have put you in your place too many times. This is getting really old.
