what are you asking? how to make a seal around the duct or how to exhaust stealthily?
i saw a thread on icmag one time about how to stealth exhaust... they used those bamboo curtains that can be blown through and then a sheet of drywall overtop for light proofing, and a hole cut in it for the exhaust line
makes it look like your curtains are always down, and that you have nice actual curtains.

I did something similar to whats shown in the link Jack provided. The flanged 6" duct starter was about $5 at Home Depot and came with a foam gasket...I love the metal duct tape for light sealing...another $5. I've got the inline fan mounted to the starter pulling thru the duct & light behind it. FYI: they do make a baffled model, I just couldnt find them...

On the window with the fan I used screws and an old sheet of 1/8" wood paneling for a bit more strength and on the window at the other end I used an old piece of 1/4" foamboard insulation...both because I could cut the holes with just a box knife...I didn't have stealth to worry about though so I didn't deco the outside faces...just screwed them up into the wall against the window frames and taped them up...

This is what i used. Foam insulation. Cracked window about 4inch left blind down so it looks like a normal cracked window. Seems to be working fine. Its held up with a few screws and duck tape!

i was thinking about doing the same thing like jwilt2008 but my window dont open up and down it open side by side, it was going to be set up like this fan>air cooled hood>ducting>window

If you're of a mind that looking like a portable air-conditioner vent is stealthy enough just get a spare portable a/c window kit ala

For about $27 close the curtains around it and it looks like you have a portable a/c unit. Otherwise if you can I'd suggest growing in the room with your dryer and Y it out... (but I assume you can't do that...) The picture jwit posted will also work for you if you want the outside to see the insulation.... Just turn it sidewise for side sliding window....

You could still do what i did with a window that opens side ways it would work the same.

This is what im going to do. Have to watch closely to see it. Bamboo type curtain hung up or white blinds. Piece of foam board attached to wall covering window. Cut holes for in/ex fans. And know one would notice.
