TL;DW: Spend your money on other people, not on other products.

I love buying people presents, stashing them away then seeing their faces light up. I bought T-Bird a whole crate of cream soda for his birthday on 4/20 and I can't describe how happy it made me to see him happy, as selfis as it sounds.

This concept never took hold until I had my son - I definitely get it now.
