No! Actually, I don't think it is. I think the site is here to make the imformation that people are looking for available. I also think that the reason we never get ahead around here is because we keep answering the same questions - over and over. All the "Newbie" questions have already been asked, repeatedly, the answers are all here. All you need to do is go "down the list" a couple of pages and you will see that everything is already there.

We are so busy answering basic "Newbie" questions that we hardly ever get to anything really "juicey". Have you seen the "Advanced Techniques" forum? Are you bullshitting me? Typical questions on there are about cloning and SCROG. That's only advanced in the same way that a Kindergartener looks at a 3rd Grader - that's sad!

I think that the people who are running this show should realize that as long as we keep catering to the "Lowest Common Denominator", we will never raise above mediocrity. We should be "The few, the proud, the Rollitup!". But no, instead we are busy answering some lazy bastard who has just asked another lame-ass "Newbie" question. Why can't someone step up to the plate and kick about 75% of the "General Growing" questions back to "The Newbie's Corner"? And at least half of the "Advanced Techniques" questions back to "General Growing"? What the hell is wrong with having higher standards (Semper Fi!)? I know it's not just me, anyone else feel like they are wasting a lot of time, just wading, upstream, through the same old shit.

It seems we have attracted a new crowd of "seekers" who demonstrate no imbarassment at all when they glorify thier own laziness and ignorance. That's it - that's my $.02 worth!
