How to be a polite pothead/ what are your rules?

Dude, take this one above the rest..

It may seem like somthing that you can control, but dont exhale while taking a hit..Depending on who you chill with, commiting this foul is half the time a death sentence..

you can prevent this by:

1. taking a deep exhale before you spark up..

2. if you find yourself full of air, put your hand over the bong shaft and make some room to take that stale smoke out..

Have a lighter...or four...handy. Nothing sucks harder than having a bowl loaded and ready to go and realizing that NO ONE has a lighter.

Another thing, and this is my own personal thing, I don't expect everyone to do it -- when I have a lot of bud, and I'm kicking it with friends, I blaze everyone out. If I have bud to spare, I tend to share it. If I'm running low, I might only blaze a bowl, but if I have a lot, I'll blaze BOWLS. Everyone knows this. I try not to be stingy with my weed.

And if ever I run out of weed, EVERYONE smokes me out. I don't even need to ask. Good karma.

Of course, you gotta be wise about who you do this with. Because there are people out there who will smoke up all your shit and then DIP without loading a bowl...gotta make sure you hang out with good people.

I was going to make my own thread for this cause I was that pisst about it at the time but figured id post it here for people to learn.

Yesterday me and 3 friends sat down at my table in my house. 2 of us threw in on it the other rolled it. Were all about to smoke this fat blunt with a shitload of keef down the middle, then this kid walks in friends with my bud doesnt even smoke us bong hits before which already made me mad then he comes and sits to the right of me so im last for the blunt now.. its like wtf dude you come into my house get smoked out for nothing and fuck up the rotation? not only that but he was power hittin it like a bong makin it run like a naga from the cops. (sorry had to say it :peace:

) so we had to keep patchin it up.

When the blunt was gone I said this is bullshit im not as high as I should be. so he leaves comes back with his lil friend that atleast knows pothead courtesy. so this dumb kid is all beggin me for my 3footer bong so after he bitches enough i go get it and I hit it (everyone knows its a persy bong) give it to him and hes like o theres nothin in it i said no shit load it, he didnt even load it he had no bud fuckin ass after 5 mins of realizing no1 is gonna load it for him he buys a 20sack... fuckin bitch!!!!!! sorry for the novel btw :peace:

wow lol i would of punched that first kid in the face. you never fuck up the rotation. and he was smokin for free. he was a ignorant scavenger smoker. the worst kind of smoker. what would help in that situation you gotta lay down the law. you have to tell ppl exactly whats going to happen like this "everybody gather round, the blunt is going to the left puff puff pass rules apply. and when that dude walked in i would of been like "yo don't sit next to me go to the end, and do you have a 5 on you? no? well then get the hell out the rotation. i dont kno you so im not smoking up any strangers" you see u kinda have to be asertive with potheads because sometimes ppl really try to get over on u.

Your dealer may have better strains but thinking since you are new to smoking are simply interested in the cheapest. Be prepared to pay more for the good stuff! If your dealer doesn't sell anything else you do NOT have to tell him/her that you are going to look elsewhere. No need to burn a bridge...buy from that dealer and eventually you'll find someone with better... or even better... you'll grow your own.

Lastly... regarding etiquette ... well there's lots of things...a few that come to mind are:

When sharing a joint... don't "wet lip" it.. and for gawwds sake... don't get lipstick and/or lip gloss on it.

When smoking from a one hit bong with someone else... finish your hit and clear the bong smoke.... no one wants your leftover smoke and ash.

Yeah man the kid actually works with me I know him get along but hes a lil bitch ya know how they are so all 3 of us put up with it but did give him shit quite a bit.

Also everyone left except the dumbass and his friend I said that I dont smoke people out unless they wanna match (unless its one of thsoe good friends but this kid wasnt) he caught that i was callin him a bitch and started trying to apologize etc but we all know hes a lil bitch :peace:

This only works if you get it in return though. I am the same way, I like to share and expect it back when I need it. It is an unwritten rule with my buddies and I. We have smoked together for years and know each other very well. We all grow and swap buds too. A little inner circle of my pot smoking friends.
Just remeber what goes around, comes around. So if you are always the one getting high and not paying for it, your day will come, lol. :mrgreen:

Dude, that sucks. I'm sorry, but if it were ME, I would have said something. At LEAST when he cut you in the rotations. I would have been like BITCH, people who don't throw down are at the BOTTOM of the totem pole, act accordingly.

Especially when I throw in, no one gets my spot. Greens always goes to someone who threw down (unless we're all too faded and are givin greens away), then everyone usually calls deuces, trips, etc. But it's a known fact that you can't call a spot ahead of anyone else if you didn't throw ins.

yeah im still pissed im workin with the guy who was friends with him now. he gave me 3 pot pills to make up for it. do they even work? I popped 3 and smoked a bowl fealt high but it was prolly from the bowl it wasnt anything special :roll:

. I also thought that it has to be heated to actually get high i dont know. anyone help? also he tried to charge $5 a pill idk about that what do you think. I also cracked it, it looked just like ground up pot. :peace:

If you are high as hell, don't be afraid to say "no thanks". Some good buddies will keep loadin til you say you are done.

Don't be afraid to admit you are a pot noob, nobody really cares

If you're lighting up at your place... OFFER DRINKS. Nothin sucks like burnin a few bowls without anything to drink.

Good one. Drinks are great, no one likes the "pasties", lol. I thought of another one, bring your own lighter where ever you go and don't take any one else's lighter even by accident. Never put the lighter that goes with the bong or pipe being passed in your pocket, pass it along. It sucks when you can't find a light. I buy them in 5 packs, lol. :mrgreen:
