Buds that are overripe absolutely can put off some male flowers and is nothing more than your plant telling you "hey Im really done" the male flowers at this point are insignificant as they have been formed too late in the game to pollinate anything . Another topic that people shy away from is the fact that female plants will put out seeds sometimes , when we give the plant a signal to die "flower" it runs full force into putting out flowers to be pollinated for self reproduction . Sometimes when the plant is nearing the end of its lifecycle it realizes that it has not been pollinated and will put out seeds to guarantee its existence. Not all strains do it and even the ones that do may not do it every time either.

Thank you for the very concise anwser...so with the minimal seeds i have found you think it is just over ripened and forced some seeds?

This is what i got out of a 2g bud.

Can anyone tell by looking at the seeds if the plant just forced them from being let go to long or if they were actually pollinated?
