How Tall should I let me plants grow before I flip the light schedule to flower?

Here’s what they look like now (about 2 weeks). Slow growth?

Nope, I let the pot get light so I don’t over water but I am going to water tomorrow, but these pots still have water below the top soil.

Plus this soil is very dense I would hate to get root rot.

That will explain the slower growth. Your roots will be developing more slowly.

Not as much oxygen as they would like.
Heavier soil to tap through.

I had similar symptoms, same reason. They should do fine once the roots get a decent hold.

Keep doing that. Less is more for now, since the dense soil will will be damp. Let the plants drink it dry before more water, else you'll starve oxygen.

Next grow, use fluffier soil in early seedling to veg.

Thanks I will. The only reason I’m using this soil is because I had it. I plan on using coco coir or promix for next grow.

what kind of light do you have?
you go 1/3 of available space in stretch she does usually double size

I have a LINQOOL 100w led off of Amazon.

maybe you have it too far plant looks a little bit long. not too much but...

I didn’t want to light stress it.

that looks a lot more than 30cm?
maybe look at my diary i had daily updates and light is 60W. at day 14 i had 5 tops and the plant was really fat

You have a few weeks at least before they are able to go into flower. How tall you let them get depends on your grow space and how long your willing to veg them before sending them into flower. Personally I like to veg from clone for 8-9 weeks before sending to flower so my plants fill out a 4x4' square and are about 6' tall. Also understand that larger pots are going to allow the plants to get larger faster. MANY variables bro enjoy the hobby.

p.s they look very healthy your doing well watering them just watch out for them getting dry!

you got that phone lux app "photone" what does it say how strong is the light?

I flip at 3-4 weeks from sprout.
But mine also look like this at 2 weeks.

And this at 3 weeks.

Your soil is too dense.........roots need oxygen for fast growth.

Plan for your plants to stretch once they go to flower, somewhere between 1/3'rd and 1/2 of their height. Plan accordingly. Also though remember you have to account for space between light and ceiling, pot height & distance from light to plant.
