How small can you go?

I have a finicky bubba pre 98 in dwc. Planning a small side by side to accelerate the learning curve. Small pails with drains One gallon pails is what I can find with lids. Maybe a 3/4 bulkhead in ea. Pail. Air stone in ea. Line them up on a shelf in my veg room. I’ll assume I’ll have to eventually cut some roots out with the smaller pails.Maybe could go smaller IDK.
Any thoughts ?

These are 2 gals, but I did use 1 before hand but found it too small a water volume. Even this system barely holds 11-14 gals.

I GOTTA LOSE THE AIR PUMPS! HOW?! Plus my awesome mini DWC :)

That thing is way overpriced. The whole thing sits on a very simple method of splitting the water to oxygen and hydrogen. In big system I’d be worried about the hydrogen gas... I was looking around and saw 2 more very interesting thing. First one called Carmin. I don’t really get how it...

The idea is to have ea pail with different nute levels,find the sweet spot.I have 4 clones that r rooted that I dont need.Should only take few weeks to kill them haha.
4 1g pails doesn't take up that much space.

With RDWC you're nutes in veg are never over 2-300ppm. The plants ha e everything they need available in the water so they can all be in the same mix. They'll uptake accordingly with what they require.

Got the system together. 4 2G pails, there white so thought about painting but ended up just covering them. Each one has a different ppm of Ca/Mg and food.
they just came out of my bubble cloner the two on the right had more roots so they got the higher ppms. Far right 850. Far left is 350. Will see what happens I guess. Had the space and always wanted to try something like this.
Will call this week one. I’ll update every week.

Im currently trying out 3liter dwc with autos, 4weeks since seeds popped, were abit slow at the beginning but are racing along now

Week one. Plant #4 got the rot! Gave it a proper burial. Other 3 seam ok with roots now coming out of the net pots. Covered the other 3 pails with black duct tape so this should help.
