How should these be pruned?

I have a couple of little Thai girls that are beginning to take off. I've not grown thai before, so I'm not sure of the growing characteristics of the plant, but they are coming out REALLY bushy. They were topped once early on. Question being- should they be trimmed/pruned at all, or just left to grow. I really can't let it run away and get gigantic, for security reasons, and there are so many branches they can't all be tied down. I'm worried when it flowers that it will be to dense with foliage to let in the sunlight.
QUALITY OVER QUANTITY is foremost, this will be MY stash!!!!
Advice?

I have the same thing with this NYC Diesel, it's just exploded in growth and getting very dense foliage.

These are last weeks pics, they've all come up another 4" or better since.

clones! look at them all. i wouldn't prune at all. i'd grow hedges. prune it to look like Mickey Mouse, and get a High Times cover shot for sure.
if you have the space let them do their thing.

If you have to keep them from getting too tall, chop away. Don't prune too late in the season, or you will cut off some main bud sites. I've cut some in half.... sometimes they grow too much but they are easily adaptable.:peace:

Would produce a shitload of clones, wouldn't it? I'll just let it grow and see how they do. Or prune one, and let the other go just to get a comparison. Just worried that after it starts flowering, that a lot of the bud sites won't get the sun they need.
Have you grown these before? Is this normal growth, to be so shrub-like?
Thanks for the input!
