I got 4 clones recently and 1 is much bigger than the rest trying to figure out if I can just cut it down to be the same height when I top it
How should i top this?

I would not top those clones. They are not doing well. They need to be healthy before you think about any High Stress Training.

Yeah I'll wait till they look better, curious what I'm doing wrong, seems to happen everytime I transplant into the 1 gallons, they are in ffof soil so it should be pretty hot already I wouldnt expect them to want nitrogen yet.

Your right about FF soil being hot. They shouldn't need a nitrogen feed for about a month after transplant. In all honesty, their main problem seems to be overwatering. Which is an easy fix. Give them a wet cycle and let them dry out for 2-3 days in-between watering. Clones are more easily stressed upon transplant than a plant from seed would be.

man seems like lotta people have trouble with foxfarms soils. why do people continue to use this crap? is their marketing really that good? i know it has potential but with all the issues it seems very much like a headache in a bag. personally ive only used it once many moons ago and got fungus gnats from it plus ended up with ph issues by the end. never again. MAYBE in a hole outdoors but id rather mix my own anyways.

Yeah I mean I got them 4 days ago and transplanted them 2 days ago watered them after transplant to settle the soil and havent watered them since, I was thinking the same thing though they look over watered

It is a headache in a bag just like you described. lmao. But for some people it's the only soil that they can find in their particular area of earth. I've ran it and stopped, went to roots organics soil. It was better. Less hassle.

Just give them time Bro! They look like they would really bounce back with a lil bit drier soil. I hope that helps man!

thats easy. Fox farm ocean forest. The best for starters and experienced growers. No need to nut for a month with all the good stuff in it.
My go to easy recipe. 3 parts ffof, 1 part perlite and a heaping spoon full lime. beautifull plants result. pick a nutrient for week 5 on. best pots no doubt Air pots. worth every penny 5 or 7 gallon size. For seedlings I like 32 oz styrofoam cups you got at fast food places work perfect about 3 weeks till plants over size then straight to final pot. paying it forward to the newbie...

Yeah I do everything there but the added perlite which I meant to do this time but forgot, I use the gallons for a little bit and then move them to 5 gallon fabric pots.
