The room is a converted garage that is insulated and sealed. There is a 3 ton mini split(? not 100% bout the size of ac but it between 24-36k btus) and the room is professionally wired with its own subpanel able to power 10 1000w lights. The dimensions are 22Lx12Wx9H. Real quick about me: Ima a noob with not much growing(Mary related) under my belt. This is my passion and I know a lot(for a noob) and I am willing to learn more. I plan on using soil and experiment with a few options(soil, nutes, grow techniques, C02) til i get things dialed in. I have a 50/50 partner i will be splitting the workload with and have a handful of friends who have MUCH more experience and are doin grows this large and larger right now.
My plan so far is to take 12 plants that have been veggin for a while and flower under maybe 4 1000w using the existing equipment. However i was thinkn down the road(cycle or two from now) I could take advantage of the size of the room and maybe do 4 DE and 2 LEC??? Just some numbers im throwing out there......not sure if that is the best route but thats why im asking yall!
I would like to keep plant counts lower so larger plants would be better. I have a 4x8 that i planned to veg with in a separate room. Im bout to upload some pics in a min so yall have a better perspective. Thanx in advance. So if it was yours and u were trying to get max yield what would you do? (no leds please.....just not my thang)

Nice man. Can't help much on the build ideas. My set up is tiny compared. Sounds like a lot of work tho bro. I'm sure you can handle it. G'luck.

Your gonna struggle with DE in that room with large plants Ontop of those flood tables. When you say big plants how tall are you thinking?

I'm a SOG grower with limited experience with large Scrog plants. Just not my style.

sog is what works here, flood and drain, just keep filling the trays, lots of small plants get going before the bugs eat them too.

Yeah why waste your time with soil, when you have everything you need for an SOG , Ebb and flow, take your 12 plants in veg clone them, you can easily get 4-6 good clones off of 1 plant so you can you can have more plants to play with, you can pack on some serious pounds in that setup !

the tables arent staying. I have 9 feet plus a few inches of height to work with. I didnt wanna do SOG cuz I wanted to keep plant counts low. When u say I will have issues with DE is it cuz of my height? Is 9 feet enough w/o the tables? Thanx for getting this thread jumpin!

4 plants per light in 10 gallon pots filled with an organic soil.Individually Scrog each plant into a 2x2 square and keep the plants short. Veg time under HID might be 4 weeks. Screens don't have to be 100% full the first day of flowering. Let them fill during the stretch of flower. Lollipop the plants around day 14. Other than that just keep them healthy till harvest.
