how short can you flower from seed?

does anyone know how soon you can flower a plant from seed?
I am not looking for a big yield just some good smoke.

I've seen a plant about 1 ft tall..
Budded out..
Yielded an 8th..
--
That honestly is a waste of time..
After making a little 'indoor grow kit' or whatever..
You'll have spent more to grow the 8th then it would actually cost..
ehh..yeah.

yeah def, what you put into it is what you get. Im flowering a 1.5 footer and im giving her nutes and light up the ass, shes got way more than an 1/8 but i def wish there was more. So if u plan to start the damn thing flowering right off the bat, you arent gunna get shit.

Its pointless to grow for a low amount.
Might aswell grow as much as you can.
I was trying to do the same thing when I started..
Not worth it...
