How quickly do trichomes turn color?

Is the transformation from clear to cloudy to amber a 1 day event? Does it take a week or so?

My pretty little buds are crystal clear and I grow impatient.

it happens over a number of weeks be patient it will be worth the wait how long have you been flowering for and what strain?

I have sativa and has been 11 weeks still clear, harvested the sister 1 week ago and not ready, surely!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sativas can be a feckle thing. it could take another 6-7 weeks to finish maybe longer with some strains nd thats not accounting for pheno differences which could all take different lengths of time to finish.

I never grew a full on sativa, but I read that they have these growth spurts, like it may be ready, then it start to grow bigger buds and they're clear again, gotta catch the window and the right time.
