How often should you water a soiless mix

I have three og kush plants outdoor using a soiless mix not sure how much i should water them

depends on how much moisture ur medium holds and how fast it dries out....
only u can tell

he has them outdoors but in soiless mix

Growing them for a friend i asked him what the mix was thats what he said if im not doing it rights it on him but they are in 5 gallon buckets and about a month left until i pull them and i was just wondering because when i water it the soil doesnt compact i dont know ive never used a soiless mix

Does it really matter who's doing what wrong? I'm trying to help you but I can't unless I know what the mix is. Everything dries out at a different rate. If it's a peat based mixture, it will hold water a whole lot longer than something with heavy perlite/vermiculite.
