I've always watered every hour during the dark period in my amazon aeroponics system but wondered if there was an alternative, so who does what, any gems to discover?

I am using the Rainforest 66. It's basically a res that has a sprayer in the middle that spins and sprays water. I left it on 24/7 when until the roots touched the water. Once they touched the water, I put it on a timer so it would spray 15 mintues per hour. The only thing I added in addition was a small airstone that aerates the water even while it's not being sprayed. THIS IS MY 1ST GROW EVER, so take what I say with a grain of salt. So far, my plants look very healthy. Thick stalks, lush leaves and are just starting to flower. As far as this watering schedule, I'd do the same thing next time.

Regardless of my lights being on or off, once the roots touch the water, I spray them 15 minutes per hour.

So....when my lights are off, the roots are sprayed 15 minutes per hour.

Gee thanks Sherlock, I have only been using aero for 2 years now, again read the post please. Don't respond unless you have a alternative watering method for lights off.
