How often do you calmag?

I'm a novice grower and yes, I am very susceptible to taking advice from perhaps some that I shouldn't. But I have noticed no matter what the problem mentioned in a thread , Calmag is pretty well mentioned, if not advised at least once as the cure.. One brown spot on a leaf and I got advised to use Calmag. My tap water is 120ppm, 8.2Ph.
I have been reading these past months, hence learning, so I did like reading, "know what you are doing." Much better than taking the advice from someone whose skills you know nothing about.
I use Canna Nutes, and have Calmag, Epsom and seeing as I am growing DWC, H2O2 (Hydrogen Peroxide). Presently I am only adding H2O2 as everything looks green and healthy. Let's hope it stays that way, but if not, at least I have a known base to start from. KIS.

My tap water doesn't register on my meter so it's less than 120/140 ppm, I've never needed calmag.

I wasn't aware of its popularity until i read about time and time again here, I spoke to the local shop guy during a led issue and he said yes (lying cunt) @ 0.2 it discoloured the edges of my leafs.

Do you have any photos of your plants?

I've heard the chemistry speach a 100 times and more from people that can't grow.
I'm not saying you can't, your new here so your pictures will tell all.
This guy claims to have a PhD in Agricultural Biosystems and yet he believes photons are consumables
See here's wt I am talking about. If seedlings require 25watts minimum to branch and u put 7 under a 77 watt fixture then that is 10 Watts per plant. They will never get wider, u will overwater
I agree with the basic concept you should know what you're doing. Which means you don't always have to add back Ca or Mg to an RO system depending on your base nutrients and your plants needs.

You don't depending on the nutrients you're using, what's available in the soil and the plant's particular needs. Watch your plants and think about what you're doing is good advice.

It is difficult when you're new to a subject to figure out who to trust. Hover your mouse over a member's avatar and it will show when they joined, their number of posts and reactions. Usually older members who have been here consistently will have better advice. Obviously that is not always the case but it does help some.

H2O2 is relatively fugitive in a reservoir you might want to consider using pool shock it's cheaper and lasts longer. If you're interested just click on Search and look for pool shock.

Never, because I grow in a super soil. When I grew in coco, I used it every time I feed. If i used synthetics in soil, I would also use that every time, because of Liebig's Law of the Minimum.

I've read something about that would you refresh my memory about it?
It's just something along the lines of the plant growth will being limited if it is deficient in any essential nutrient. It can't use all that nitrogen you're giving it, if it's deficient in calcium or whatever, because that's the limiting factor. So I would always mix nutes the same gallon ratio as well.

In my personal opinion calcium and magnesium might as well be macro nutrients. I run a calmag mixed liquid supplement that also has iron from botanicare right now. I run about 100-150 ppm every time i water. Im on a well and out of the tap its 80 ppm but id still run it every time if i was on city water that was at 200 ppm to start. The only times i dont run it are the first two-three weeks the plant is alive, and the last two-three weeks the plant is alive. For the last while i cut out all nitrogen, calcium, and magnesium. I still run low levels of p and k but i force the plant to finish by cutting its food down without totally starving it.
How much p and k do you give them? Half or quarter strength (I'm using emerald harvest nutrients)
